    Our main beach area is for use of all of our guests. The swimming area has a clean sandy bottom with a gradual slope, so it is safe for toddlers.  There is a raft further into the lake for sunbathing and diving.

    On the main beach is the campfire area where guests gather in the evenings.

    There is a climbing and slide apparatus for children as well as a box of beach toys.  There is also a large open grassy area for volleyball, lawn darts. or horseshoes.

    We have a paddleboat and some canoes available for guests to use on our lake, on a first-come, first-served basis, at no charge.

    Laundry
    We  have a coin operated washer and dryer available for the use of our guests.
    Meals
    This is a housekeeping resort, which means that our guests generally do their own cooking. However, we can provide meals for groups by special arrangement.  We can also provide a light breakfast for overnight guests on request.

    There is a restaurant in Wharncliffe, about 15 minutes from the camp.  Thessalon and Iron Bridge, each 30 minutes away, have a selection of excellent restaurants. 

    Groceries and Supplies
    Tunnel Lake Trading Post has a full range of convenience groceries and snacks, as well as bait, fishing tackle, ice, outdoor equipment, clothing and souvenirs. There is a grocery store in Thessalon, 30 minutes away. 
    Boat and Motor Rental
    We have 16 foot steel boats and 9.9 hp Johnson motors for rent by the day or week. It's best to let us know ahead of time if you wish to rent a motor. Motor rental is subject to a rental agreement.

    There is also a complimentary tea and muffin  pontoon boat cruise every Sunday morning for any guests who wish to participate.  You can get to know your hosts and neighbours while taking a tour around Chub Lake on our luxury Pontoon Boat.  This is also a good opportunity to see some wildlife.
     

    Boat Docking and Launching
    You may launch your own boat at the main beach. There is a sandy bottom and a gradual slope into the water. We have a 4x4 truck available to launch your boat if required. There is a dock for each cottage. We don't charge for launching or docking your boat
