Canoe Shuttles From our location we are able to provide shuttle service to canoe trippers on the Mississagi, Aubinadong, Wenebegon, Little White, and Spanish rivers. Our canoe shuttle involves transporting you and your gear to the put-in point and leaving your vehicle at the takeout point. (Most clients prefer leaving their vehicle at the takeout point so that it's there no matter when they arrive, rather than counting on being picked up at a specific date and time. We have not found security of the vehicle to be a problem.) Depending on the route, several different configurations are possible, using your vehicle and/or our vehicle, and the total cost for the shuttle varies accordingly. For example, our most common shuttle involves the Spanish Chutes to Aubrey Falls route on the Mississagi River. The most common configuration is to leave your vehicle at the Aubrey Falls pickup point (side dam). From there we transport you and your gear, in our vehicle, to Spanish Chutes The cost for this shuttle is calculated as follows: Our vehicle,Kegos to Spanish Chutes and return 500 km round trip @ $.75 = $375.00 +48.75 HST=$423.75 We can accommodate up to 6 people and gear in our Suburban. Additional people would require an extra vehicle at extra cost. An alternative configuration is to use your vehicle to transport you and your gear to Spanish Chutes, and our driver to return your vehicle from Spanish Chutes to the Aubrey Falls takeout point. (Your vehicle must have room for the extra passenger on the trip to Spanish Chutes, and be suitable for driving loaded on gravel roads). The cost includes our driver's round trip from Kegos to Aubrey Falls in our vehicle, and our driver's time for the Aubrey Falls to Spanish Chutes round trip in your vehicle. Cost for this shuttle: (Our Vehicle 130 km Round Trip from Kegos to Aubrey Falls Driver's time 5.5 hrs round trip from Aubrey Falls to Spanish Chutes) 130 (.75) + 5.5 (15)+ = $180 + 23.40 HST =$203.40 Due to changing fuel prices, these rates are subject to change.
